The old saying of Melbourne having 4 seasons in one day is ringing very true these days. Summer seem to have switched places with Autumn of late and the days of wearing t-shirts and shorts seemed to have taken a rest. We had a busy weekend with the arrival of our new car and no matter the weather we were going to do a little roadtrip since it was a long wait of 9 months to get this car made and sent over to Australia. So we woke up a bit earlier on Sunday morning and hopped in the car and drove down the coast, heading for Red Hill. The kids have such a great view in this car and they were fully enjoying the majestic Victorian landscape rolling by their windows.

We knew we were getting close as the roads got smaller and the vegetation got denser. Finally we rolled into Red Hill and stopped at the lovely Epicurean restaurant/cafe. By now everybody was really hungry so we quickly had to order some yummy stone oven pizzas from their restaurant. This place is a true little gem, with food for everybody and now also a nice little store. I can definitely recommend a visit if you happen to be in the neighborhood. After lunch we had lovely walk in nature and even though the wind was on the cooler side with some warm clothes and hot chocolate it turned into a really fine day. We are hoping to have many more road trip photos to share in the future!
